Unrelated: I decided to write about what I hoped for in the coming weeks which was offered as an assignment for Module 1. It says to post it here on the course blog, but I don’t think I have access to post new entries. Don’ tsee it on the dashboard.

Some students think nothing of putting every thought they have online. Other students have spent most of their lives without the option to publish instantly. Both should understand the other perspective.

However, I don’t think we realized that we were to be hiding our identities from our classmates as well. If that is the case, I think it may be too late to reverse!

That is why we begin with biography. I want the bios to be about you and the defense of your topic to come from your personal history. The pseudonym requirement is designed to keep your work this semester (about you) private, while revealing the difficulty of maintaining such anonymity. Just look at how many of you posted your real names and photographs right next to your supposed aliases.

If any of you want to repost, I will remove your revealing comment, but I’m not grading you on how well you can hide. I’m just proving a point and giving you an opportunity.
